On Sat, Dec 15th Kelowna United FC held their First Annual Coaches Game and Fundraiser at CNC Indoor Fields.  Kelowna United FC is the Premier Club of COYSA (Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association) with 350 players ranging from U11 to U21 in both boys and girls. The Club wanted to do something to give back to the community and bring the teams together with an enjoyable event.

Along with field time donated by COYSA Indoor League, all coaches gave a non perishable food item or cash donation to play and their teams were challenged to raise money as well to see them play.  The Game was well attended by coaches and spectators and enjoyed by all.  A total of 9 boxes of non perishable food items was donated along with an unbelievable total of $2816.50 in donations was raised to give to the Kelowna Food Bank on behalf of all the teams.
