Thank you to all the generous sponsors who donated to the project. We couldn’t have done it without your support!
The Grand Opening for the Facility took place on Saturday, January 11th, 2014.
Guest speakers included members of BC Soccer and Kelowna City Council. Luke Stack (Kelowna City Council) and Mark Krehel of Kelowna United performed the ribbon cutting together …..a symbolic act that highlighted the partnership between the City and the Club which paved the way for the vision of a facility to become a reality! Congratulations to all of the organizers, supporters and staff!
Nov 8th, 2013 The new Kelowna United dome is UP AND RUNNING on the lot behind the H2O Adventure & Fitness Centre on Gordon Drive! The vision is finally a reality! Congratulations to all who helped to make this dream a reality!
Nov 3rd, 2013 The end of the Project is in sight! In the sunshine on Sunday afternoon, the hardworking volunteers and staff of Kelowna United were successful in getting the Dome closed in and inflated! It was a happy day as the huge white bubble slowly rose from the ground and took shape! Looking at times like a new extreme sport park with huge white rollers forming from one end to the other, it slowly became apparent that this was one continuous bubble as the air continued to lift the white panels from the foundation. Thanks to all who took part in making this a truly memorable and successful day!
