KU U14 Boys Spartans (Elkin) – 2        Vernon United U14 Boys – 2

KU’s BU14 Spartans outshone their opponents last Sunday in Vernon.  Definitely the best game so far, their melding as teammates was noticeable and notable.  With his 2nd goal of the season, Matthew Jilek opened the score with a beautifully placed penalty shot.  Many of the boys both defensive & offensive, elevated their game which showed in possession and shots on goal.  Once again, Adam Friscka had a strong game tying it up with a nice through-ball from Ryan Tattersall.  Despite the draw, the Spartans definitely proved to be the dominant team!
